After The Election

God has demonstrated His amazing grace and undeserved mercy to America with the outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election. The extreme policies of the Biden/Harris Administration that were bringing so much destruction to our nation will be halted. The federal government’s relentless war on the sanctity of marriage and family, parental rights, the sanctity of life, and religious freedom will slow or be reversed. The open border policies that have destroyed so many lives and brought so much chaos will be reversed and our borders will be secured. We can also be thankful that the landslide election likely enables us to avoid the drama and chaos we have seen following past elections.

Yet, no politician or political party is the solution to our nation’s deep moral and spiritual problems. Psalm 146:3 tells us not to put our trust in princes because they are all fallible human beings who will invariably fall short of the perfect ruler we long for, Jesus Christ, who will someday return to rule.

While we celebrated the victories in the national elections, here in our home state voters approved an amendment that enshrined in our constitution the most radical abortion law in America, with unlimited access to abortion up to the time of birth, with absolutely no restrictions, with taxpayer funding and even without parental consent for abortions by minors.

Our state and nation need more than a change in political leadership, we need revival in the church, and a moral and spiritual awakening in our land. I’m hopeful the vision of our new leaders can lead to reformation in our government but without God’s intervention, it will never be enough. You can legislate morality, but you cannot legislate spirituality, and legislation cannot transform the human heart. Only Christ can do that.

I deeply appreciate all of you who prayed and passionately contended for God’s will and purpose in the election. I’m convinced The Million Women gathering on the National Mall shifted something over our nation, but it was the work and prayers over the years that made the difference. Yet, I believe the election has provided us a reprieve and we must take advantage of the moment. God is calling us to contend for revival and bring in the harvest. The harvest is greater than we can imagine.

Mario Murillo called Tuesday morning and stated, “Trump will win the election, and God is giving us four years to bring in the harvest.” We emphatically agree that God’s grace has been shed on America again and He is giving us this time to bring in the harvest. Let’s continue to press forward in prayer, intercession, and greater unity as we partner with Heaven in bringing in the harvest. The glory of God is in the harvest.

Due to severe winter weather, we had to cancel our monthly Fusion service this week. However, we will gather for Fusion this Wednesday, November 13th and move our last Fall Connect Group Meeting for 2024 to the follow Wednesday. We believe this Fusion service is vitally important to celebrate, rejoice and praise God for His Divine intervention and to receive a fresh outpouring of His anointing for this new season.
