Sifting

by | Aug 19, 2024

Last week, in the prayer closet, I prayed and cried out for the bride of Christ and for many people, specifically those I know are being sifted right now.

The Lord reminded me of His words to Peter when He said, Satan desires to sift all of you like wheat, and then He told him, “But I have prayed that your faith would not fail.”

We are all in a time of great sifting. Satan is sifting the bride of Christ in this hour. You are going to go through pain and sifting by the powers of darkness. So be sober and vigilant and on the alert. When trials come, when hardship comes, don’t let it take you by surprise. Jesus, our high priest, lives forever to make intercession on our behalf, and He’s praying that your faith will not fail. I feel strongly that I am to warn the bride in advance that if you are not in a time of sifting now where you feel the increase of pressure from the powers of darkness, you will experience it in the future. Don’t let it shake you! Instead, embrace Him, run to Him, and run into your secret place, for there is healing and joy and life forever more in His presence. Resist the temptation to become bitter and embrace the Healer. Those wounds that cause pain and distress are the very places that produce the anointing that breaks the yoke.
