Necessary Fire

by | Aug 16, 2022

The Holy Spirit keeps speaking these words to me over and over, “Necessary fire.” We are all going through the fire. And if you are not feeling it right now, get ready because we are all going through it. Do not be afraid because the Lord is with us in the fire. And all those who choose to follow Jesus must go through the fire. God tells us in Isaiah 43:2-3, “…When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God…”. Notice that He did not say “if” but “when you walk through the fire.”

Therefore, if you feel like you are going through the fire again right now, be of good cheer. You are not alone, and just like Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,
there’s Another in the fire with you. He is The Lord, and He will bring you through IF you will trust in Him with all your heart. The enemy stirs up fire to destroy us (as with Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah), but God will use the fire to strengthen you for His glory.

The fire is all around us, and we all will go through it. So it is imperative that we stay alert, focused, and engaged. We are in a real war, and it is brutal. We’ve never been this way before in America. Our nation is experiencing a fire. The nation is divided. The church in America is divided. Many families are divided. But the Lord keeps speaking the words “necessary fire.” He is allowing the fire to purify us, cleanse us, and burn away everything that is not of Him. It’s painful, but it is necessary. Wisdom embraces Him and boldly marches into the necessary fire allowing it to do its perfect work.

The Holy Spirit continues to admonish me to remember the two spiritual weapons that are keys to our victory in this fire. Prophetic decrees and shouts of praise are necessary to prevail and come through victoriously. Bear with me because I know I will sound like a broken record on repeat, but here it is again: Each person will be tested by this fire, and everything impure and unclean will come to the surface and be exposed. Those who stand true to the end will be purified and come through as pure Gold. This pure gold will bring great glory to God. So keep standing firm! The fire is painful, hot, and undesirable, but it is necessary.
We are all going through the fire.
We will all be tested in this fire.
What is of God will be purified and strengthened.
What is not of God will be exposed and consumed.

God is speaking to me so clearly these days, and I will admit that sometimes it’s scary. Yet I know that He is with us in this battle, and as long as we stay surrendered to Him, we will come through victoriously. This is a necessary fire that we all are going through, and it is unavoidable. Stay close to Jesus as you go through the fire and make sure that you only do what He tells us to do, and you only say what He tells you to say. Put a guard over your mouth and a watch over your lips to speak only the right things. The power of life and death are in the tongue, so lift up your voice as a weapon against the enemy. Your prophetic decrees and shouts of praise will lead you through the fire and to victory!
