Humility

Let’s celebrate humility and bring glory to God throughout the month of June. Proverbs 6:16-19 lists seven things the Lord hates, and number one on the list is: pride. We now live in a nation that celebrates and propagates what God hates; calling good evil and evil good.
Isaiah 5:20 warns: “You are doomed! You call evil good and call good evil. You turn darkness into light and light into darkness. You make what is bitter sweet, and what is sweet you make bitter.”
Sadly, this is the day we live in. In America, we now set aside an entire month to celebrate pride. What a “slap in the face” of Almighty God, when a nation rises up to celebrate throughout an entire month, the very thing that God hates and calls an abomination. So, how should we respond and live amid this month of pride celebration? The answer is simple.

We respond with Truth and humility. God is the source of all Truth. Jesus showed us the way to counter the lies of the enemy when He confronted Satan’s deception in the wilderness. He took up the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, and He brought down Satan’s lies with Truth. Therefore, as passionate followers of Jesus Christ, we live by His example today.

Throughout the month of June, as the world celebrates pride, we will focus on God’s Truth and celebrate humility. We want to invite you to join us in this wonderful celebration of humility throughout the month of June. Each day, we will be posting a scripture on humility, and praying to see revival and awakening in our nation. God’s heart breaks over the confusion in our land today. Isaiah repeats the reality that God hates sin because sin destroys people and nations. Yet, His hand is stretched out still to all who will humble themselves and come running to Him.
